Research
My work is addressing the molecular basis of human speech and language evolution in brain. To this goal I use genetically modified mouse models of transcription factor Foxp2, the only single gene so far clearly linked to speech and language development in humans. I apply a combination of proteomics, RNA-Seq and advance molecular biology techniques to investigate the underlying molecular networks.
